Mark Bittermann is the Director of Human Resources & Talent Management.
He is responsible for managing all aspects of the search process, including candidate recruitment, interviewing and negotiations. In this role, he effectively merges his extensive management and expertise to successfully identify and evaluate the skills and competence of an executive.
With more than 20 years of experience, he has an exceptional understanding of the industry and has worked with executive leadership in hospitals and health systems, academic institutions, physician group practices, and managed care. He has managed profit and loss statements, operating budgets, multi-department strategic initiatives, and corporate restructuring. He employs successful recruitment strategies for building high-performing teams. He recognizes the critical leadership skills necessary for organizational success, the importance of clinical and financial outcomes, and the need for cultural fit. His dedication and commitment to his clients is reflected in the excellent scores he receives from client surveys.
Prior to joining his current company, he successfully led sales and marketing teams in various companies for fifteen years. He has in-depth knowledge of hospitals, health systems and academic institutions on both the research and clinical side.
He earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Management. He has also earned a Masters of Business Administration in Business Management/Organizational Development.
